Five Star Stories

The greatest things are the hardest to find. Although his mangas are now translated to English and distributed in America, the works of Mamoru Nagano are still hard to find at your local comic shop. And yet, there are countless "spikey-hair" anime series available at every Wal Mart nationwide. Why is it that the worst of the genre is so popular and the best is scarcely known outside of Japan? I've been warned about replacing reality with my own philosophy in order to make myself believe that others have the same ethics as i do...But i refuse to believe that all of this silly "chubby-hero-boy" and teenage girl anime is really what Americans want to see. It hurts me to think that the majority of the population is content with such mediocre artwork. Are there even more zombies roaming the isles of Suncoast than i imagined?

There are several anime series that would put a stop to this madness if they were ever given the proper exposure. Perhaps the most worthwhile candidate to lead the crusade is "Five Star Stories".
