Assembly (aka: Stuart Dixon), hailing from Los Angeles, CA, provided us with these two tunes, showcasing two very different shades of D&B that define the Assembly sound. "Bringin' Me Down" has been getting caned on CD-R for some time by the Ozone kru and has been getting reactions from crowds and DJs alike, mostly consisting of "Who and what the f*ck is that?!?!" A tearing anthem with serious subs, "Bringin' Me Down" has intricate synth work, intense drum programming and a second breakdown that can only be described as epic. "Skin," on the other hand, explores the deeper, more intelligent side of Assembly's sound. More likely to be found on Variant's playlists, "Skin" is melodic, subtle and sexy.
